The Best Places to Eat on Long Beach Island, NJ
The Local Market and Kitchen – Ship Bottom
This is by far our favorite and always our first stop when we get on the island!
Recommendations: specialty drink (coffee or tea) and a pastry. Our go to order is a Raspberry Tea Lemonade and a giant strawberry pop tart!
Barry’s Do Me a Flavor – Beach Haven
A great casual dinner spot with a great variety on the menu!
Recommendation: Cranberry & Walnut Salad with Grilled Chicken, Turkey Avocado BLT wrap
The campfire s’mores ice cream is the BEST!
Panzone’s – Beach Haven
A great spot for pizza near Bay Village in Beach Haven! We love sitting on their porch. Panzone’s is known for their pizza but they also have a large menu of pasta dishes, salads and more!
Recommendation: cheese, green pepper and sausage pizza!
Chicken or the Egg – Beach Haven
This is definitely one of the most popular places to eat on LBI! There is always a long wait so try to get a reservation or go for an early dinner to beat the crowds! Tip: most people head to dinner later in the summer at the beach.
Dockside Diner – Long Beach
This is a great breakfast spot! Definitely another popular place so get there early! They are open for breakfast and lunch and have a variety of menu items like breakfast sandwiches, omelette, burgers and salads.
Recommendation: any of the speciality omelettes! We tried the veggie omelette and a breakfast sandwich.
The Gazebo Grill & Sushi Bar – Bay Village – Beach Haven
This grill is in the back of Bay Village with lots of outdoor seating on that porch overlooking the bay! This is a great spot to eat, hang out and watch the sunset at the end of a perfect summer day!
Recommendations: Market Salad with Grilled Chicken, quesadillas, sweet potato fries!
The Sea Shell – Palm Grill – Beach Haven
If your looking for somewhere fun on the beach to grab a drink and something to eat, definitely check out the Sea Shell. There is usually live music of some sort during happy hour.
Recommendations: Summer Bowl, Fresh Market Salad, Grilled Chicken Sandwich
Skipper Dipper – Long Beach
Last but not least..ice cream at skipper dipper! This is a very popular ice cream spot with the line out the door almost every night in the summer! Skipper Dipper is always our last stop of the night or our last stop before heading off the island!
Recommendations: soft serve chocolate, dole whip, mint chocolate chip
