Disney’s Vero Beach Resort!
The Resort
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a true hidden gem! If you are looking for a mix of Disney and a low-key relaxing beach vacation then this is it! Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is an oceanfront resort located in Vero Beach, Florida…107 miles and just under 2 hours from Walt Disney World! The resort has hotel rooms, 1 and 2 bedroom villas, and beach cottages available. The resort also has amenities such as private beach access, pool, a water slide, mini-golf, walking and biking paths, recreational rentals, a campfire site, on site dining, and more!
Shane and I have been visiting Disney’s Vero Beach for many years now and I have many memories of visiting here as a kid growing up. In fact, Vero Beach is my family’s *home* DVC resort and my sister and her husband had their wedding here in 2017!
Beach Cottage
The beach cottages are my favorite place to stay at the resort! The resort has 6 beach-side cottages that are 3 bedrooms/3 bath. Each cottage faces the dunes and beach.
Pool & Water Slide
The pool and water slide area is awesome! The pool area has a Pirate Bay splash area for kids, a mini golf course, and of course the 2-story 163-foot water slide! You can also grab drinks or snacks in the pool area, as well as, access the fitness center. Don’t forget to head over to Eb & Flo’s rentals for bike rentals and more!

The Beach
Access to the beach is right across from the pool and a short distance from the main lobby and most cottages! There is a small boardwalk to access the beach and there are rentals available for chairs & umbrellas. The water is always a beautiful aqua blue! Sea Turtle nest watch and hatch is very popular in Vero Beach. The nesting season is from March 1st through October 31st. This area of the beach is also very popular for treasure hunting with a metal detector for lost treasures from shipwrecks from the 18th century!
Bike Path
One of our favorite things to do at the resort besides swim, is biking! There are bike paths throughout the resort but you’ll want to check out the bike paths surrounding the outside of the resort! You can access the path from the back of Eb & Flo’s bike rentals. You can even go under the resort’s tunnel to get across the street for more bike paths! Be sure to check out the awesome Peter Pan mural in the tunnel on your ride!
Dining
Wind & Waves Grill
The resort has one restaurant on the premises for casual dining and excellent food!
If you want more options during your stay we also recommend venturing out into the town of Vero Beach, there are endless options for food just minutes away from the resort!
Poolside Market
There is a quick-service market located inside the pool area that you can grab quick meals, drinks, and snacks all day!
The Green Cabin Room
If you are looking for a bar at the resort, head on up to the Green Cabin Room, located in the main lobby of the hotel on the second floor. There is porch seating that overlooks the ocean!
Campfire
The resort often holds a family campfire with songs, stories and s’mores. Be sure to stop by and check it out during your stay.
