A Day At The Baths – Virgin Gorda – Tortola, BVI Excursion
While on our Disney cruise (fantasy), the ship docked in Tortola, BVI and we chose to do ‘a day at the baths’ which included a 40 minute scenic cruise to the Spanish town: Virgin Gorda. This excursion is great for families and is recommended for children ages 5 and up. The entire excursion from start to finish takes about 6 hours.
Once we arrived to the town by boat, we hopped on an open air safari bus for a 15 minute ride through the old Spanish town and stopped at the top of Savannah Bay.
Continuing on from Savannah Bay, the safari bus took us to top of the baths where we took a short walk through a nature trail and hidden caves to Devils Bay which has boulders and sea pools to explore.
We were given a few hours to explore and swim around the baths before heading back to the safari bus that took us back to the boat and ultimately back to the cruise ship. This was an awesome excursion and the best choice for something unique and different to check out on the island!
