We started our day out with a tour of Franck’s Studio and The Wedding Pavilion. There was a lot of inspiration on display in Franck’s…everything from cakes, dresses, decor items, and more!
The Wedding Pavilion includes an organist when you book the venue for your ceremony so there was an organist playing Disney songs as we toured the Wedding Pavilion to give you an idea of how it all comes together. It was truly magical!
After touring the Wedding Pavilion, we headed across the resort to the Grand Floridian Convention Center where the menu tasting was being held in the Grand Ballroom. The Menu tasting included more wedding decor inspiration, Major Domo to make announcements, Chefs and the Pastry Chef Team!
The menu tasting had everything from appetizers to entrees and desserts! Our personal favorites were the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Strawberry Frisee Salad, Beef, Pulled Pork, and the Churros! Everything was amazing and the service was phenomenal. The Chefs even took time to sit down with each couple and discuss their menu items and answer any questions we had.
All in all, it was an amazing experience and very well done by the Disney Weddings Team. We highly recommend participating in this if you are planning a Disney Wedding with a 4 hour+ reception!
